Guards are the 'cabin crew' of a railway, looking after the safety and comfort of passengers

We have a variety of other roles, too . . .
​​Come along and see what we do at weekly working bees, at the depot on Waitara Road, on Saturdays and Tuesdays, from 9.30am until 3pm.

              Training is offered to operate motor trolleys, become a guard or a locomotive driver.
  We also have teams working on rolling stock restoration, yard and building restoration and maintenance,
gardening work, railway track maintenance etc.

To get to the yard, drive up Waitara Road off SH3 at Brixton, and turn right at the level crossing, through the yellow gates. (Watch out for rail vehicles that may be operating).
